A Celebration of Creativity; Anselm Kiefer
Gagosian Premieres celebrates the work Field of the Cloth of Gold, a new exhibition at Gagosian by Anselm Kiefer. The conversation between the artist and art historian James Cuno is fascinating! The piece features a large-scale painting in concert with a new ballet by Hugo Marchand and Hannah O’Neill. The choreography is by Florent Melac, and the music is composed by Steve Reich.
This work is evocative, as is all of Kiefer’s artwork! The artist lovingly creates a real sense of that place where the sky meets the ground, where the expanse of landscape meets the power of the human body. It is a startlingly beautiful installation! One worth viewing in person or virtually.
